Write for us
We welcome pitches that make food and cooking easier to understand, from a close look at one kitchen technique to a well-framed story about a food custom or ingredient.
What makes a strong pitch
Bring one clear subject, a reader-shaped question and a sense of what the piece will explain. We look for original angles on kitchen craft, ingredients, food history, foodways and life at the table. A useful pitch says what makes the subject worth a reader’s time and how you plan to handle its context.
A good fit for our pages
We favour focused, evergreen work that a curious general reader can follow and act on safely. We are not looking for sweeping claims, disguised advertising, unverified anecdotes presented as fact or recipes that depend on specialist equipment. If a subject needs careful qualification, include that in your proposal.
Send a proposal
Use the Contact page to send your pitch, a short description of your relevant experience and any useful links or samples. Do not send a full draft unless we ask for one. We cannot promise a reply or publication, and a submission does not create an assignment.
